For business-minded people out there, you might want to check out the events  at Megatrade Hall this weekend.

First, Go Negosyo MSME Summit started last July 8 at the Megatradehall. This is ongoingn until the 12th. They will be holding SME briefings at the Function Room, 5th Level, Bldg B at SM Megamall.  I’ll be there tomorrow because I’m interested with the topic that I saw in the flyer given out in the entrance “How to Sell Online” by Ms. Katrina Inocencio of Yehey!

For more details, go to to the GO NEGOSYO MSME SUMMIT  Site.

Second, there’s the 4th One Town, One  Product Luzon Island Fair.

Found this poster from one of the exhibitors , Paper and Crafts Inc. where I plan to get my scrapbooking materials this weekend.

Of all the trade fairs in Megatrade Hall that I’ve gone too, this is one of the best so far. The booths are evenly spaced out, it is well attended, there an even mix of products (foods, furnitures, accessories, and health products as well from the provinces) to choose from.

I’ll go back tomorrow to take in some pictures of my favorite new finds (if they’ll allow me). I was there at the opening at the same time maybe that GMA was there. I may have even in the same area that the President was without me knowing it. There were many security personnel around, and I wondered who the important  person was.

I’m glad to see also that there were lots of foreigners around (investors I hope). When I was with a Japanese government agency I used to coordinate trade fairs like this to bridge Japanese businessmen and Filipino exporters.  Those were the times and attending trade fairs like OTOP brings back memories, delightful memories that is.

Anyway my new finds last July 8 comprises of Chicarice, Chocolate with Pili Nuts, Malunggay Pancit Canton (which I hope to feed the kids), dried pineapple bits, Pure pineapple juice at only P8.00 on tetra pack (for my husband who has high blood), and my favorite uraro cookies (not a new find). Oh yes, I bought a bottle of bagoong also.  There are so many things to buy, I just did not have anymore to carry anything, (at 1′o’clock pm call center agents are supposed to be in bed, hehe).

So if you go to Megamall check them out. Support One Town One Product! Proudly Pinoy
