Purple Is Cool!

And so my officemate and I went to the Purple Hunt Tour at Greenbelt. Overall, we had a good time (yep, good, not great), but good is good, and as you know you make your own happiness, so what may be just good for me may be great for you. We played a game where we hunt objects on a painted wall (ala Larry Alcala eto), and won post its (purple ones), stickers, and a cool purple totebag for my friend. The krispy Kreme Donut was purple too! And my eyes hurt from the purpleness of it all. I’m not complaining though. I got my picture taken in one of those purple costumes. I was little bit hesitant at first, when they told me that they are going to post the photos at flickr. And thought, oh no, no, no, no! But then they told me I would be purplelized (did I get that right?), and I conceded. I’d like to see myself purple, haha. Purple is such a hard word to pronounce, pur-pwe!-lized. Almost made a fool of myself out there. And so, I went home feeling good about my purple post it and stickers and showed them off and shared them with co-workers on the day I returned to work. And because of that, you will be seeing more of us at the Purple Hunt. I’ve done my part in spreading the word. Hope this would be good Karma. Hope to win the digicams and cellphones on Phase 2 of Purple Hunt.

The Purple Hunt is On!

I’m a big fan of Yahoo! but I’ve never been to the Yahoo! Philippines website. Okay, never is not the right word. What I mean is I don’t go to the Yahoo! Philippines. For some reason, I don’t feel the need to visit the site. Until the Purple Hunt, that is. My officemates and I received an email to check out the Purple Hunt on yahoo.com.ph. The freebie-lover in me (hehehe!) thought this is so cool. Not only because of the freebies but because now I have more reasons to visit the site. Although the first phase of the Purple Hunt is kinda boring (finding tickets for teh Mall Tour), unless you plan to attend the Purple HUnt Mall Tour each and everyday, there is really no sense in hunting for tickets again and again if you’ll go only once. Best thing to do is spread this out to friends so you all could go together and have a good time. I am more interested in the phase two of the Purple Hunt where you unearth clues on the location of prizes, i.e, digital cameras and cellphones. That should be fun. Anyway, I’ll give this a shot. My officemate and I have printed out the email of registration and the front page of yahoo.com.ph (for the Krispie Kreme doughnut) and we’ll be off to Greenbelt 3 today. Who’s knows I might be there tomorrow and the next day, and the day after that.

Yahoo! has just added WordPress as an application inside Yahoo! Mail. This new feature will allow users to blog without leaving Yahoo! Mail. Hope this will work.
